Chesaning Took to the road to open the season to face 2 old Tri-Valley conference rivals Shepherd and Bullock Creek. In match one against Shepherd the Indians lost in 3 sets 17-25/25-23/9-15. In match two Chesaning lost in straight sets to Bullock Creek 16-25/18-25. Leaders on the night for the Indians were:
