MONTROSE HILL-MCCLOY HIGH SCHOOL: 32
Tonight we traveled to Montrose and came away with the win. We started the game slow and found ourselves down 6-3 after the first quarter. Scoring 9 points in the second we were able to tie it up 12-12 at the half. Our defense was strong in the third quarter and we surged to a 27-17 lead. Montrose came back strong in the 4th out scoring us 15-8 but we held on for the win. It took all seven girls as we finished the game with 2 players on the bench after fouling out. We are small in numbers but big in heart and effort!
