The team traveled to St. Charles for a non conference matchup Tuesday night. We found ourselves down 18-10 after the first quarter and at halftime we were down 26-14.  We made too many turnovers and did not shoot the ball well all night.  In the second half we played much better outscoring St. Charles 7-5 in the 3rd quarter to cut the lead to 10 down 31-21 going into the 4th quarter. We narrowed the gap to 4 points late in the 4th but ending up losing 37-31. I was happy with our play in the second half.  It would have been easy to give up but the team battled back.  I give credit to St. Charles as they passed the ball very well and made their shots, they are a good team.  We will get after it in practice to prepare for New Lothrop on Thursday.
