Chesaning Girls took a 3rd place finish in the first MMAC Jamboree of the season. Chesaning scored 70 points, finishing behind New Lothrop (37) and Ovid-Elsie, with 5 runners posting season best finishes. Taylor Bailey crossed the finish line first, taking 4th place in 23:13. Eliana Germaine also finished in All-Conference position with a 13th place finish in 24:22 with one MMAC meet to go. Makayla Reiber posted an excellent 17th place finish in 25:23 which represented over a full minute improvement from her last run on this course. Emily Smith took 29th place with a 28:13 finish, followed by Lauren Grimm in 29th place in 30:46 and Shyanne Sutter in 42nd place in 34:41. Chesaning has meets in Birch Run (10/5) and Saginaw (10/9) before the final MMAC meet hosted by Ovid-Elsie on October 12th.
