Chesaning takes the win over Ovid-Elsie, 109-60.  Chesaning's swim team has a roster of 12 athletes with an even mix of boys and girls.  Each athlete shows outstanding skill and motivation to give it their all.  The Indians were able to place first in 9 of the 11 events and took first and second in 6 events.  

The night began with Chesaning (2:05.06) just out touching OE (2:05.54) in the 200 Medley Relay with the team of Lapine, Liebrock,Lewis and Walker.  Chesaning took first, second and third in the 200 Free, Beckman (2:08.49), Chalco (2:26.29), and Kate Lewis (2:38.61).  Grover first (2:40.74) and Maier second (2:45.42) in the 200 IM.  Liebrock took first in the 50 free (25.26).  Karlie Lewis swam hard to take second (1:11.69) in the 100 butterfly followed closely by teammate Grover (1:15.10).  Chalco first(1:01.35) and Maier second (1:02.43) in the 100 Free. Beckman first (5:59.37) and Lapine second (6:19.93)in the 500 Free.  The Indians placed first and second in the 200 Free Relay.  In the 100 backstroke, the Indians had Lapine in first (1:12.91) and Lewis in second (1:23.60).  In the 100 breaststroke Chesaning took second, third and fourth.  Liebrock second (1:15.06), Lewis third (1:26.49) and Harris fourth (1:33.42) The final event of the night was the 400 Freestyle relay where Chesaning took the win with the relay team of Lapine, Chalco, Grover and Beckman.   

It was a well deserved win for the Chesaning Indians.  Practice Hard! Swim Hard!  Win Big!
