The Chesaning Indians hosted a nail biting meet against the Oscoda Owls.  Each race was all about who can get their hand on that wall first.  Chesaning Indians 86  Oscoda Owls 84

The evening began with Chesaning placing 2nd and 3rd in the 200 Medley Relay.  Drew Beckman placed first in the 200 Free (2:05.87) and 500 Free (5:53.12).  Beckman broke the school record for the second time this season in the 200 Freestyle.   Kaden Liebrock placed first in the 50 Free (25.69) and the 100 Breaststroke (1:17.48).  Gwen Lapine touched the wall first in the 200 IM (2:37.88) with Levi Maier (2:45.49) in 3rd for Chesaning.  Lapine placed second in the 100 backstroke (1:11.95)  Chesaning took 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the 100 Freestyle with Caleb Chalco (1:01.47), Maier (1:3. 61) and Kate Lewis (1:09.03).  Sophie Grover ( 6:42.01) raced to the wall to just out touch the owls resulting in 3rd in the 500 Freestyle.  It all came down to the last event.  Chesaning was able to placed first and third in the 400 Yard Freestyle creating a 2 point lead.

 The Chesaning Indians swam a great meet that was full of competition, burning muscles, screaming lungs and spectators on their feet to watch the close finishes.
