The Middle School Indians started their season with Brady Sager and Max Volk combining for a 4 inning no hitter. The Indians offense supplied plenty of runs in the 12-2 win over Montrose at Chesaning High School.
Brady Sager started the game and pitched 3 innings, striking out 9 and walking 2 batters. Max Volk pitched a scoreless 4th inning, striking out 2 while walking 3 batters.
The Indians offense supplied 12 runs on 6 hits and 9 walks. Sager led the way with a double, a single and 3 RBI. Luke Barta, Brayden Florian supplied 2 RBI each and Max Volk added another.
Adam Woodcock paced the Indians crossing home plate 3 times. Sager, Volk, Barta and Quinton Everett each scored twice and Florian added another run.
Everett had a double and Seth Schlicht also singled in the game.
