The second game the Lady Indians kind of fell asleep until the 8th inning when they put up 5 runs to get the win. Game 1 against a very good Birch Run team was rough for the Lady Indians. We only had 4 hits for the game. We looked sloppy on defense with 6 errors that Birch Run was able to turn into 7 unearned runs and we were only able to score 3 runs for the game.   K. This was by far the best game we have played all season. We had 0 errors and we scored 6 runs on 6 hits. In the second game Perry came out early and grabbed a 2-0 lead heading into the 4th inning. The Lady Indians bats came alive after that scoring 6 runs in the next 3 innings while holding Perry scoreless to get the 6-2 win. These were 2 big wins over a very good Perry team.   K. The second game against Itacha was another great game. Both teams were held scoreless through the first 3 innings. The Indians put up 2 runs in the top of the fourth to take a 2-0 lead. Ithaca came back in the bottom half of the inning putting up 3 runs to take a 3-2 lead. The Indians scored 1 run in the top of the fifth inning to tie it up, but Ithaca came right back and scored 2 of their own to take a 5-3 lead. The Indians tried to come back but fell short, scoring 1 run in the top of the seventh inning to take a 5-4 loss. It was a great split against the 9th ranked team in the state for Divison 3.   K. The first game against Itahca was a good game. Both teams were held scoreless through the first 2 innings. The Indians were able to score 4 runs in the top of the third inning and Ithaca put up 2 runs in the bottom half of the inning. Ithaca put up 3 runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to take a 5-4 lead. The Indians were held scoreless until the top of the seventh inning, putting up 3 runs to take a 7-5 lead into the bottom half of the inning. The first game against a very good New Lothrop team did not go well. The first game against Valley Lutheran wasn't bad. The Lady Indians were able to score 8 runs on only 6 hits to get the win. Great defense was able to keep Valley Lutheran off the scoreboard.   K. Game 2 the bats finally came alive in a back and forth battle with O-E. After a scoreless first inning for both teams, the Lady Indians went up 1-0 in the top of the second inning and held O-E scoreless again to take a1-0 lead after 2 innings. The third inning O-E held us scoreless and scored 2 of their own in the bottom of the third inning to take a 2-1 lead after 3 innings. In the top of the fourth inning the Lady Indians put up 5 runs to take a 6-2 lead. O-E put up 4 runs in the bottom of the inning to tie the game at 6-6 after 4 innings. In the top of the fifth inning the Lady Indians put up another 6 runs to take a 12-6 lead. O-E scored 1 run in the bottom of the inning to cut the lead to 12-7. O-E held the Lady Indians scoreless in the top of the sixth inning and scored 1 run of their own to cut the lead to 12-8. The Lady Indians scored 4 runs in the top of the seventh inning by a Grand Slam by M. Jones to give the Indians a 16-8 lead. In the second game against Merrill the Lady Indians started off a little slow scoring 1 run in the first to take a 1-0 lead. Merrill came back in the top of the 2nd inning scoring 1 run to tie the game after the 2nd inning. Merrill put up another 3 runs in the top of the 3rd inning to take a 4-1 lead. The Indians put up 3 runs of their own in the bottom of the inning to tie the game at 4 runs a piece. The Indians then took over scoring 9 runs in the bottom of the 4th and 1 run in the bottom of the 5th while holding Merrill scoreless to take the win 14-4. K. Florian - (1) Single, (1) Run H.
