The Lady Indians traveled to Durand tonight for their season opener and first conference game and beat Durand 51 to 40.  The Indians played well for the first three quarters, but in the fourth they let Durand back in the game. " We did a lot of good things tonight and we have a lot to improve on.  I am pretty happy with our win tonight!  We controlled the the game for the first three quarters but mistakes let them back in the game in the fourth. I am very proud of my team they played hard and worked hard tonight!"

The Indians were led by Karissa Ferry with 15 points, 13 rebounds, 4 steals , 3 assist and a blocked shot. Lilly Skaryd 15 points, 2 steals and a rebound.  Ava Devereaux 7 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.  Meghan Florian 6 points 7 rebounds 3 assists and 2 steals. Allison Oakes 4 points , 3 rebounds and 1 assist. Avery Butcher 2 points, 2 steals and 1 rebound. Alexia Mugute 2 points. Kennedy McAlpine 3 reounds, 3 assists, 2 steals. Preslee Slankard 2 rebounds and a steal. Kylie Morse 1 rebound, 1 assist and a blocked shot.

The Indians' return home on Wednesday with a matchup against Mayville, tip off at 7:00 PM.
