Tryouts for JV and Varsity Girls Basketball will begin on Monday, November 16th.  Tryouts will be at the high school, in the main gym from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  Any girl interested in playing please make sure you get a tryout card from the Athletic Office, and show up for practice on November 16th at 5:00 PM.  Tryout cards can be picked up in the Athletic Office from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Monday through Friday.  Mr. Hemgesberg will also be onsite at your practice if you cannot make it during those times to give you a tryout card as long as you have all paperwork completed.

Midland Calvary Baptist will be allowing three (3) spectators per athlete for the boys and girls varsity basketball game tonight that they are hosting.  They will also be charging a $5 admission fee for all spectators.  GO INDIANS!

St. Charles will allow 4 spectators per athletes and charge a $5 admission to attend the JV and Varsity girls basketball games they are hosting on Tuesday, March 9th.  They will utilize the same check in method that has been used throughout the season.  Additional spectators will check in under the athletes name that they are watching.  Have fun, enjoy the game and GO INDIANS! 

The Lady Indians traveled to Durand tonight for their season opener and first conference game and beat Durand 51 to 40.  The Indians played well for the first three quarters, but in the fourth they let Durand back in the game. " We did a lot of good things tonight and we have a lot to improve on.  I am pretty happy with our win tonight!  We controlled the the game for the first three quarters but mistakes let them back in the game in the fourth. I am very proud of my team they played hard and worked hard tonight!"

The Indians were led by Karissa Ferry with 15 points, 13 rebounds, 4 steals , 3 assist and a blocked shot. Lilly Skaryd 15 points, 2 steals and a rebound.  Ava Devereaux 7 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.  Meghan Florian 6 points 7 rebounds 3 assists and 2 steals. Allison Oakes 4 points , 3 rebounds and 1 assist. Avery Butcher 2 points, 2 steals and 1 rebound. Alexia Mugute 2 points. Kennedy McAlpine 3 reounds, 3 assists, 2 steals. Preslee Slankard 2 rebounds and a steal. Kylie Morse 1 rebound, 1 assist and a blocked shot.

The Indians' return home on Wednesday with a matchup against Mayville, tip off at 7:00 PM.
