Last night, the Chesaning Indians' 8th grade volleyball teams hosted New Lothrop. In the first match of the night, the Orange team lost all three sets 14-25, 9-25, & 17-25. Leading scorers for the Indians was Kaydence Haney and Alonna Schack with 4 points each. Next, was Marissa Ball, Riley Sedlar, & Noriah Ortega each with 3 points. Following them with 2 points apiece were Bianca Dasuqi, Rosalie Rahmann, Bea Oberson, & Malayla Sumbera. Lastly, Bella James scored one point.
In the second game, the Black team played three very close sets, eventually losing two of them 19-25, 23-25, & 25-22. Leigha Schneider led all scorers with 9 points while Ellie Kenny was right behind her with 8. Emylia Kukulis contributed 5 points, while Brooke Springer and Whitney James each had 3, Ruby Gross scored 2, and Juliana Rodriguez finished with one. Springer, James, & Gross each had one kill to Schneider's three assists.
