Last night, the 8th grade Chesaning volleyball team hosted the Rams from Montrose. In the first match, the "Orange" team lost 6-25, 11-25, & 22-25. Leading scorer for the Indians was Marissa Ball with 6 points. Bianca Dasuqi scored 5 while Malayla Sumbera earned 4. Both Rosalie Rahmann and Riley Sedlar had 3 points. Kyera James and Bea Oberson each had 2 and Kaydence Haney and Bella James had one apiece.
In the second match, the "Black" team lost 11-25, 25-27, & 19-25. On the net, Julianna Rodriguez had 3 assists while Leigha Schneider had 1. Whitney James drilled 3 kills and Izzy Therrien had one. At the serving line, Schneider scored 8 points. Both Carrigan Warner and Therrien had 6 points while both Ellie Kenny and Rodriguez scored 5 each. Ruby Gross and James each scored 3 points and Lexie Fisher and Emylia Kukulis scored 2 points apiece.
