The Chesaning Freshman Volleyball team traveled to Saginaw Nouvel Catholic High School to compete in a tri-match. In the first match of the evening, the Lady Indians beat Montrose in three sets with scores of 23-25, 25-14, & 15-8. Leading all servers was Lizzy Beldyga with an impressive 21 points; 9 being aces. Jordan Wendling had 4 aces, Taylor Maier had 3 aces plus one more point, and both Jordyn Butcher & Brianna Pierce served 2 aces. Rounding out the serving was Brooklyn Mallory with one ace.                                                 At the net, Butcher had 5 kills and both Mallory and Audrey Gilman had one kill each. Maier offered 2 assists and both Butcher and Olivia Luft provided one assist each.

     In the second match, Chesaning fought a hard battle, but eventually came up short against the host team of NCC with scores of 18-25 & 21-25. Both Brianna Pierce & Jordan Wendling scored 4 points with Pierce having 2 aces and Wendling with one. Taylor Maier pitched in with 3 points, one being an ace and finally, both Lizzy Beldyga and Jordyn Butcher with one ace apiece.                                                                                 Attacks on the net were led by Butcher with 3 kills and 3 blocks.
